Circa 1914 12” Robbins & Myers “Gear Back” oscillator was acquired from a long-time fan collector. Original finish is beautifully preserved and still shines like new. When acquired the fan had spent many years on a shelf and needed a good deep cleaning. Original gold pinstripes are still present in various locations over the fan body. Brass components appear to have been cleaned or polished at some point and possibly lacquered as they still retain a beautiful shine. We have disassembled and serviced this fan for years of use. The fan operates flawlessly across three distinct speeds. An ideal fan for daily use and with minimal maintenance will last another 100 plus years.
