Circa 1911 16" GE BMY Desk Fan featured the 11 3/8" Pivot height. In 1909, General Electric introduced a redesign of their residential desk fan, collectors have named this model the "Big Motor Yoke" or BMY, which has gained immense popularity among collectors and is considered a "must have" addition to any fan collection. This example has an older textured restoration and upon startup, is louder than normal very possibly attributed to heavy bearing wear. It is operational on all 3 speeds.
