Very Rare 1908 16" GE Big Motor Yoke Desk Fan. Highly Desirable Among Collectors, This Early Example Has Many Unique Features. The Motor Design Use Centrifugal Start Switches, These Switches Are Still Present And Working As Designed. The Struts On This Fan Also Mount "Flat" To The Front Of The Motor Housing. The 16" Brass Blade Has A Unique Hub Design That Is Specific To This Model As Well. Pulling Influence From The Prior Year, The Base And Trunnion Mount In A Fixed Position. This Fan Operates ON 3 Speeds And Moves A Large Amount Of Air. We Disassembled The Motor And Have Updated The Headwire With Period Correct Cloth Cord. The Oilers Have Been Cleaned And Fresh New Wicks And Oil Installed. Pleased To Offer Such A Great And Rare Example.
