Circa 1906 12" Ornate Base Trojan 5310 Desk Fan Original

From the Prairie House Collection, assembled by a dedicated fan enthusiast and collector, comes this Circa 1906 12" Ornate Base Trojan 5310 Desk Fan Original.  From Emerson Electrics "Trojan" line of fans, this circa 1906 12" 5310 ornate base trunnion mounted desk fan with brass blade and guard.  Finish is in original condition with some minor chipping on base.  The fan will clean up beautifully with a mild cleaning and waxing.  Fan Displays Emerson’s iconic shiny black japanned finish which looks great with the patinaed brass blade and open ring cage.  The head wire and power cord have been replaced in a flat brown cord at some point and are in good condition.  Fan operates on 2 speeds as intended and runs smoothly on 104V AC with amps pulling .91 on H and .82 on low.  It features the centrifugal switch that upon start up sound super cool.  Brass wing bolt has been broken off in the trunnion but can be easily removed and replaced.  There is a crack in the switch that does not impact the operation of the fan.   An early fan with many desirable characteristics.
