All Original Circa 1912 Fidelity Stationary Tab base Desk Fan.  This Fidelity desk fan retains it's unique, original finish. Fidelity was not known for its smooth finishing techniques, and their fans often appeared as if they had been painted with a brush. The original finish on this fan displays "aligator skin", a term used to describe an original finish that has crackled (usually from attic heat).  The brass cage and blades display beautiful patina only achieved from 100 plus years of raw exposure.  The fan runs smoothly on 110v AC, and it has three distinct speeds. The head wire and brush wires appear to have been replace prior to us acquiring it from a collection.   We did upgrade the power cord to our superior OTR+W cloth covered cord.  Oil cups have been cleaned of all old dirty lubricant and have fresh new wicking and oil installed.  This is an excellent collector grade fan!
