Circa 1919 6 Blade 12" GE 3 Star oscillating desk fan with original "Sales Dept." tag and Perfumizer Breezeodor attachment. Brass motor tag reads Form V3 Cat. 78777 making this a 1919 model as shown in the attached advertisement. This fan is offered as it was found in its original department store location, it appears they may have painted it at some point in its life. History we have with this example is that it was found in a central Illinois department store. We acquired the fan and have updated the headwire and power cord as well as a complete service of the gearbox. Fan runs perfectly on three speeds. Such a great piece of history with the sales department tag and perfume breezodor attachment still intact. Just imagine this fan in 1920 cooling the customers while spreading a soothing aroma throughout the store. A historic brand manufactured when a time that "quality was standard".
