Circa 1916-1917 16" 6 Blade Brass Bell Oscillating Desk Fan. With This Purchase Not Only Are You Owning A Piece Of GE History, You Are Getting A Fan Restored By One Of The Greats In Fan Collecting History. This Fan Was Acquired From The Estate Of The Late Monty Young And Has Been In Storage Since. Monty Was A Very Important Part In Creating The AFCA. At A Time The AFCA Was In Need Of Financing, Monty Stepped Up And Donated His Personal Restored Westinghouse Gyro. The Gyro Was Auctioned Off With 100% Of Its Proceeds Going To The Club. This 16" 6 Blade GE Was Documented To Have Been Restored By Monty In The 1990's. It Appears Monty Tagged The Fan Anticipating To Offer It For Sale And Changed His Mind. Monty Included A Personal "How To Use" Tag With Every Fan He Sold And This Fan Still Retains That Tag (Maybe The Only Sill In Existence). As With Any Monty Young Restoration, His Attention To Detail Exceeded All Fan Restorations Of The Period And This Fan Is A Prime Example. This Fan Runs And Oscillates Perfectly On 3 Distinct Speeds. Very Rare Piece Of Fan Collector History.
