Presenting from the GE What A Collection:  Circa 1925 12" GE Trumpet Oscillator represents GE's ninth-generation oscillating fan. This example has been restored many years ago by the late master craftsman, Monty Young, who is well known in the fan collector world for his meticulous restorations. The fan runs smoothly on its intended three speeds and oscillates smoothly. Since restoration, expansion and contraction of materials used in the production of the oscillator wheel have led to cracking in the finish.
