Circa 1916 12" GE 3 Star Brass Blade Guard Oscillating Desk Fan. Form R1 Cat. #75423, This Fan Was The Workhorse For GE In The Mid Teens. This Is A Very Desirable 3 Star Oscillator, Meaning The Three Brass Star Shaped Knobs That Adorn The Mechanical Adjustments. The Guard, Blade And Struts Are Made Of Solid Brass And Have A Rich Patina. The Body Of The Fan Is Original Very Dark Green (Almost Black). We Have Fully Serviced The Fan For Safe Operation. The Gearbox Has Been Disassembled And All Old Grease Removed, Fresh Grease Added For Years Of Use. The Oiler Has Been Cleaned Of All Old Oil/Grease And Has A Fresh Wick And New Oil. The Headwire And Power Cord Have Been Upgraded For Safe Operation, Blade Has Been Professionally Balanced And Runs True And Smooth. A Minor Amount Of Insulation Is Missing From The Back Of The Switch Lever, This In Not An Area You Would Come Into Contact With While Operating.
