Restored circa 1915 12" GE 3-Star, 6-wing oscillating desk fan with brass blade and cage. This highly desirable 3-Star 6-wing oscillator was GE’s workhorse of the period. The “3-Star” designation refers to the three brass, star-shaped adjustment knobs that define this model’s distinctive design. This example has been professionally restored and presents beautifully. The brass guard, blade, and struts have been polished, and the body has been finished in a rich black automotive-grade enamel that complements the brass exceptionally well. The fan runs smoothly and quietly on all three distinct speeds and oscillates properly on each speed. The fan has been fully serviced, including complete disassembly of the gearbox, removal of old grease, and application of fresh lubricant for years of use. The oiler has also been cleaned, fitted with a new wick, and filled with fresh oil. This is an excellent choice for someone seeking a reliable, daily-use fan that is both mechanically sound and visually striking.
