From the Prairie House Collection, assembled by a dedicated fan enthusiast and collector, comes this, circa 1914 8" Emerson 19644 Desk Fan – Original Condition.  This 8" Emerson 19644 is one of Emerson’s most desirable small desk fans.  It features the desirable step-base design and the patented 1899 Parker brass blades.   The cast iron motor housing and base retain the original Emerson japanned finish.  The base is in very nice condition and still retains the gold speed indicators while the motor housing has some paint chips in the back.  Both should clean up nicely.  The blade and cage have been polished previously and are developing slightly golden appearance.  The head wire will need to be replaced, and the power cord was replaced and appears to be in good condition.  It runs on 110 V AC and has three distinct speeds as intended.  The stem in yoke is loose, switch lever is taped, and the oiler is missing the top.  This is a very desirable Emerson and will be a great daily runner once it is serviced and cleaned and minor nuisances repaired.

Dimensions:  H12" x W9" x D7"
