From the Prairie House Collection, assembled by a dedicated fan enthusiast and collector, comes this 12" Emerson Type 19646 Desk Fan.   This 12" Desk fan was Manufactured by Emerson Electric in 1914.  This was a common residential fan during that time period and 110+ years later, it is still running strong.  This example's motor and yoke contain its original finish, and the base has an older refinish.  The brass has been polished at some point.  The head wire has been replaced with a wire with very large loose sheathing, and the power cord is in good condition.  The fan runs smoothly on 110 V AC on three speeds.  Once serviced this would make a wonderful air mover.
