Circa 1940's Whirl-Wind Counter Fan Circulator Industrial Amazing Original Condition. This Beautiful Example Was Acquired From The Lifetime Collection Of Jim Daggs. Jim Was A Lifelong Fan Collector And Major Contributor To The Development Of The AFCA. Jim Took Over Publishing Of The "Fan Collector" In The Late 1990's. Jim's Fan Collection Primarily Focused On Excellent Original Condition Fans From The 30's-50's. Fans From This Era Are Becoming Increasingly Difficult To Find In Excellent Condition With The Growing Interest In The Mid Century Time Period. I Was Pleased To Have Been Able To Acquire Such A Great Original Example From A Historically (AFCA) Important Collectors Collection.
This Example Looks And Runs As Great As It Did On Day One. Chrome Is In Excellent Condition With No Pitting Or Rust. Aluminum Blades Are Excellent And Run Smooth And True. The Cage Badge Is Missing A Few Small Areas Of Paint As Shown In The Photos. When Switching Through Speeds, There Is A Slight Buzz On High That Stops In 5-10 Seconds. Beautiful Example Of A 1940's Industrial Designed Machine.
