Very Rare Kennedy Lindy Airplane Fan "The First Airplane Fan".  This Kennedy Lindy fan was the very first Airplane design and was done in honory of Charles Lindbergs "Lindy" flight across the Atlantic in 1927.  This is a beautiful example of this historic airplane fan.  The fan is very sleek and simple and looks amazing just hanging or even more stunning when in operation.  The fuselage has been nickle plated and the powerful Galvin Motor has been repainted, together this makes the fan present even better.  The tags appear to have been polished at some point and have started to develop a nice patina.  I love the exposed terminals on top of the fuselage as it is in keeping with those on early desk and ceiling fan designs.  If one were ever to own just one Airplane fan, this has to be it.  The history behind this fan and its design is one that will be of great interest to all who see it.
