Offering a Rare one of two knowing examples of Dallas Engineering's 1938 offering "Airplane Fan" Pedestal.  This fan is a true work of art!!  Combining the "Airplane" design that Harry H. Knight patented in 1927 with an incredibly heavy cast iron industrial base and towering nickel plated arch suspending the fans head making this unit tower in scale.  The original cast iron base has been refinished at some point in the past and shows minor vintage wear.  The extension pole retains some of its original nickel finish.  Adjustable collar, motor hanger, and motor housing appear to have been replated and display a deep shine.  Original cage has been refinished in an original specified Aluminum/Silver cast painted finish.  Cast Aluminum blade has been lightly cleaned to remove debris displaying a muted clean finish.  We have serviced the fan and it runs excellent!!  While rewiring, we added a motor disconnect for moving/transport.  This allows the motor to be removed from its hanger for safer transport.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own such an amazing example and quite possibly the best "Airplane" Dallas Engineering ever produced.
