Circa 1931 Dallas Airplane Fan.  Pleased to offer this hard to find example of "Initial" Dallas Airplane Fan production model.  Found in an estate just south of Dallas Texas, this example never traveled too far from home.  Featuring the early and desirable "Terne" copper washed tin plated finished resembling a copper oxide finish of the time period.  This is a Model 122 which utilizes a single speed 1750 rpm motor featuring a larger 22" blade.  Upon servicing the motor, the original components for the centrifugal starting switch were found to be faulty and in need of replacement, we installed a modern relay for dependable operation.  I feel the wall mount bracket was created for an owners requirements and not factory but very cool and unique feature for mounting the fan.  If desired, this fan can be mounted from the ceiling using a standard 3/8" pipe for a downrod.  The guard is a very rare and unique application I have not seen on another Dallas Airplane fan but appears to be a production piece, the age and patina of this guard appear consistent with the age of the fan.  Excellent example for use and display in a large space!!
