Restored Circa 1903 GE 12" Pancake Trunnion Desk Fan w/ Full Ribbed Base
On consignment from the well respected Carlton Ward, a longtime member of the Antique Fan Collectors Association known for his exceptional restorations and contributions to the fan community, is this beautifully Restored Circa 1903 GE 12" Pancake Trunnion Desk Fan with Full Ribbed Base. This stunning fan has been restored by Carlton in a deep black, and beautifully polished and lacquered blades and cage. Base features a hand painted brass/gold pinstripe detail. When supplied with 108 V AC, the fan runs smoothly on five distinct speeds. The motor tag reflects a serial number consistent with 1901 production. There is a replacement screw in the neck that differs slightly from the original. Fan is in excellent condition, and it would make for a great addition to any collection.
