Rare Circa 1914 16" GE SMY (small motor yoke) 6 Blade Residential Fan.  Several months ago we acquired this example as part of a large collection looking "tired" form its 100 plus year life.  Due to the rarity of this model, I chose to complete a full restoration to bring it back to its "Day One" glory.  The restoration turned out absolutely stunning!!!  If you love polished brass, this example is one big brass mirror!!  The large 6 wing 16" blades are a mirror in motion.  Because this is the small motor variant, the blade pitch is rather shallow and the wings almost lay atop of one another in the center.  All of the brass components have been polished and lacquered to preserve the brilliant shine.  Cast iron components are finished in a superior rich automotive black enamel.  Head wire and power cord have been upgraded to our superior OTR+W cloth covered wire.  Fan runs perfect on 3 distinct speeds and move a wonderful amount of smoot breeze.  An absolute beauty, this fan will command attention no matter the setting.
