Presenting from the GE What A Collection:  Circa 1914 16" 6 blade GE SMY (Small Motor Yoke) Trunnion Desk Fan, a masterpiece of early fan design and desired for its smaller size motor compared to the BMY. This example displays its original finish and could use some refreshing, it runs quiet on all 3 speeds.  Brass blades and parallel ring cage showcase a nice patina. The blade/hub needs to be tweaked and the top strut is incorrect.
