Professionally Restored 12" GE General Electric Coin Operated Hotel Taxi Desk Fan.  Own a piece of GE Coin Operated fan history, this fan was restored by Kim Frank who has become known as Mr. Coin Op!  His interest and restoration of GE Coin Operated Fans created a great buzz around these fans and put many gutted and broken coin ops back into operation.  This example was restored by Kim in his early days (2005) and just recently paid a visit to the Dr. (Kim) for a checkup.  Internally everything has been inspected and tested, fan functions perfectly as designed.  The finish chosen for this example was a rich black matal flake (in the sunlight the metal flake really pops).  All brass was polished and left to patina naturally.  Kim signed and dated the bottom cover as an artist signature when this restoration was complete.     Since restoration a few chips developed in the finish and these have been touched up.  A rare opportunity to own a beautiful coin op restored by Mr. Kim Frank!
