Circa 1918 8" desk fan "Breezer" by Lindstrom Smith Chicago. One of the most distinctive designs of an 8" desk fan. The unique proportions make this a very desirable model. The nickel plating on the base, motor, and guard are in very good vintage condition and the blade shows some signs of oxidation but this does not impact the operation of the fan. This motor has a very unique switch design. A lever located on the back cover changes the angle of the brushes on the commutator, this speeding up and slowing it down. The fan has been serviced and new oil and brushed have been added.
Very unique fan that stands out amongst a sea of brass and black.
