This Perfectly Daily Running Ceiling Fan Was Manufactured By Emerson Electric In 1902 We Recently Acquired This In A Trade From A Longtime Ceiling Fan Collector. He Said This Was A Very Regularly Used Fan In His Home. When Acquired, The Bottom Fern Leaf Plate Was Painted We Removed The Paint To Reveal This Amazing Original Copper Flashed Finish. The Sides and Top Of The Motor May Have Been Painted At Some Point In The Past. This Example Still Retains An Original 2 Part Adjustable Downrod. We Insulated The Motor and Choke Coils In House and Replaced The Lead Wiring and Wire From Switch To Choke Coil. This Is A 2 Speed Fan Operated By The "T" Handle Switch, The Blade Irons Appear To Be Newer Production. The Original Wood Blades Were Refinished In A Nice Rich Walnut. This Work Was Preformed By A Recently Retired 52 Year Finisher For Century Furniture.
