Circa 1902 Robbins & Myers Model E Ceiling Fan. This Stunning Example Was Recently Acquired From A Long Time Collectors Estate. The History We Received With This Example Was It Had Been Completely Restored In 1991 And Never Unpacked. Unsure Who Did The Restoration But The Finish Is Absolutely Beautiful. The Blades Appear To Have Been Upgraded With The Restoration And Appear To Be From A Stunning Exotic Wood. An Unbelievable Characteristic Of The Fan Is That It Still Retains Its Original 2 Piece Canopy. There Is A Small Hairline Crack And Cut Out Notch For Conduit In The Top Canopy Section. The Original Switch Is Missing, Best And Most Efficient Method For Operation Would Be A Wall Switch. The Spiral Down Rod Shown In The Photo Is Not Included With The Fan. Blades Have Been Stamped Based On Installation Location. This Motor Is Rated For Use On 110 Volts AC Making It A Product For The USA Market. Many Of These Models Were Sold To South America For 220 Volt Operation And Have Made Their Way Back To The USA. Very Rare And Stunning Ceiling Fan.
