Circa 1947 16" General Electric Oscillating Desk Fan. This Beautiful Example Was Acquired From The Lifetime Collection Of Jim Daggs. Jim Was A Lifelong Fan Collector And Major Contributor To The Development Of The AFCA. Jim Took Over Publishing Of The "Fan Collector" In The Late 1990's. Jim's Fan Collection Primarily Focused On Excellent Original Condition Fans From The 30's-50's. Fans From This Era Are Becoming Increasingly Difficult To Find In Excellent Condition With The Growing Interest In The Mid Century Time Period. I Was Pleased To Have Been Able To Acquire Such A Great Original Example From A Historically (AFCA) Important Collectors Collection. This Example Runs As Extremely Smooth As It Did On Day One. There Are A Few Minor Scratches To The Gearbox As Shown In The Photos But Very Minimal. We Have Disassembled And Mechanically Serviced The Gearbox And Oiling System. Oiler Contains Fresh New Wicking And Oil. Gearbox Was Disassembled, Cleaned And Has Fresh Grease. Fan Is Ready For A Lifetime Of Enjoyment.
