Circa 1939 12" Hunter All Chrome Oscillating Desk Fan

Rare 1939 12" Hunter Electric All Chrome oscillating desk fan. The majority of All chrome fans haven't survived the past 85+ plus years the way that this example has. Chrome is susceptible to rust from moisture and dirt and as a result most All Chrome fans are pitted and rusty with areas of missing chrome. The original finish on this example shows minimal signs of age and is overall very good condition. We have dissembled this fan and mechanically serviced internally by cleaning all the old grease from the gearbox and replacing it with fresh lithium grease. Oilers have been cleaned, and fresh wick and oil have been installed. The original finish has been cleaned and waxed.  New head wire and power cord have been installed.  It runs and oscillates smoothly on 3 distinct speeds.  This beautiful all original chrome desk fan ideal for daily use.
