Circa 1933 8" GE Quiet Blade Oscillating Desk Fan Rare Ivory Color. This Example Is The Earliest And Features The "S" Design Cage Wires That Became A Standard In The Teens And Twenties. The Finish Is A Very Attractive Ivory And Was An Available Option On This Model. Ivory Did Not Hold Up Well Over Time, This Example Has Been Repainted At Some Point. A Spot On The Base Shows Where The Newer Finish Exposes The Original Beneath It. We Have Disassembled This Fan And Mechanically Serviced. All Gears From The Gearbox Have Been Removed, Cleaned, And Fresh Grease Added. Oiler Has Been Cleaned OF All Old Oi/Grease And New Wick And Oil Installed. Motor Has Fresh New Twisted Cloth Covered Power Cord. Power Cord Is Also New With A Vintage Plug For Safe Operation Great Running Fan For Daily Use But Also Looks Wonderful As A Decorative Accessory.
