Circa 1930 Dallas Airplane Fan. Acquired by a collector roughly 30 years ago with intentions of installation in their car collection garage, this was never hung and has been in storage. This example is equipped with a very solid and strong Century Electric motor and features and Off/On switch centrally located on the fuselage. They did mention cleaning the original propeller with intentions of restoring the fan as well at some point. I'm thankful the fan was left in "as found" condition, the industrial vibe present with this example is exactly this fans intended purpose when developed. Down rod is custom made for the application of hanging this fan and works well for its purpose. There are no identification labels on the fans thin metal housing, an area under the motor appears to have maybe had a label or tag at some point with only the rivets remaining. Excellent example for use and display in a large space!!
