Circa 1920 Fort Wayne Electric Works FWEW 8" All Brass Desk Fan. This fan comes direct from a long time Northern Indiana Fan Collectors collection. This collector unfortunately passed away several years ago and this was one of only a few remaining fans from his private collection. When we acquired this fan it was very dirty and dusty from years of storage. After a good cleaning and servicing this fan looks and runs excellent. The motor design of this fan is one of the most unique designs of the time period. The field coils are mounted in the center of the motor and the rotor rotates around the exterior. Fan operates smooth on all 3 Speeds. We have updated the power cord and plug for safe operation.
