Circa 1918 Emerson Type 24666 12" Oscillating Desk Fan

From the Prairie House Collection, assembled by a dedicated fan enthusiast and collector, comes this circa 1918 Emerson type 24666 12" oscillating desk fan. Emerson's 24 series of desk fans have become known for its transition period for design.  This example has a super cool oversized motor and smaller size base with 6 wing blade, cast hub and steel cage.  The motor displays its original finish while the base has been restored.  Brass blade and brass cage appear to have been polished in the past and are developing a nice patina.   Short, twisted cloth power cord was added in the past.  Head wire also appears to have been replaced in the past.  Fan runs and oscillates very nicely and will be perfect for daily use after it is cleaned and serviced.
