Amazing All Original Circa 1914 Emerson Type 21645 Oscillating Desk Fan. The 21645 was a transitional model for several Emerson Desk fan design characteristics.  This example still retains its original pot metal gearbox with what I believe to be its original blued/blackened finished.  Highly desirable cast iron hub blade is in excellent condition and runs true and smooth with wonderful original patina still intact.  All components still retain their amazing original finish with hits of gold lettering still present on the speed settings.  We disassembled, cleaned and serviced this example for another 100 years of use.  Fan runs excellent on 3 distinct speeds, low is an incredible pleasing slow speed and produces air yet being virtually silent.  An absolutely outstanding example of this highly desirable Emerson model.
