Circa 1912 R&M 12" Tank Motor Fan Beautiful All Original Survivor
Presenting a gorgeous original 12" R&M Tank Motor Desk Fan. Acquired this summer from a lifelong fan collection, we set this amazing example aside especially for this special offering. Manufactured of solid cast iron, this fan earned the term "Tank" due to its lowered stance and rock solid foundation. This fan has been cleaned and serviced ready for the next 110 years of use. The paint is in fantastic original condition!! The brass cage and blade has been cleaned and mildly polished at some point in its life. The brass still display nice subtle undertones of its original dark patina and remains raw allowing the patina process to naturally occure. The power cord and head wire have been replaced with our superior OTR+W USA produced cloth cover wire. A brand new flag has been added to the cage to restore it to its original state. This fan runs very smoothly on three distinct speeds. This fan is in wonderful condition. Ideal for daily use, this fan will be in operation for generations!
