Circa 1911 Emerson 14646 desk fan. This example is from a very large personal collection acquisition which featured many amazing Emerson "survivor" examples which we have sold over the last couple of years. This fan became separated from the collection in our warehouse and recently found it while moving some inventory. This example has been completely disassembled, serviced, cleaned, and waxed. Honestly it just doesnt get any better, an iconic cast iron and brass desk fan by one of the best manufacturers that still runs exactly the way it did when it left the factory 114 years ago. Wiring has been upgraded to our OTR+W cloth covered power cord. This fan will run for another 100 years. Fan operates perfectly on 3 distinct speeds. Original motor tag displays a very slight imperfection in the middle which may be a scratch or stress fracture.
