Circa 1911 Trojan "Pancake" Type 5110 Desk Fan from the estate of Morris Wiegand, a liftime fan collector who loved "Emersons". Having acquired this fan early on in his collecting career, this fan sat promimently on display in his home. This appears to have been restored some years ago and displays very nicely. We found the bearing to display excessive wear and shipped it out to Darryl Hudson for a perfect replacement. Rotor displayed signs of imbalance and we sent that to Jerry Bravi for balancing and a fresh new shaft. We upgraded the head wire using our superior OTR+W cloth covered cord as the original was tattered. Brass appears to have been polished at time of restoration and displays nicely. One blade shows signs of a crease just above the rivet, this has led a slight (very minimal) vibration while in operation. This fan runs without issue on two distinct speeds at 110v AC. This fan is in overall great condition, and it will make for an excellent addition to any collection.
