Circa 1910 General Electric 12" 6 Blade Big Motor Yoke Desk Fan. Incredible Original Condition "Survivor" Of A Highly Desirable 6 Blade GE. Known For Their Quality Construction, This Design Became The Staple Fan Of General Electric In The Early 1900's. The Outer Housing Shows Little To No Wear Over The Last 100 Plus Years. Upon Servicing The Motor We Noticed Above Normal Bearing Wear And Installed New Front And Rear Bearings. This Fan Runs As Beautifully As It Looks. The Original Finish Was Mildly Cleaned Then Waxed To Reveal The Amazing Shine. Oil Cups Were Cleaned Of Old Oil And Replaced With Fresh 30W Motor Oil. We Removed The Old Wick Material And Replaced With Fresh Clean Wick For Great Lubrication Of Bearings And Shaft Driving Operation. Head Wire And Power Cord Have Been Upgraded To Our Superior OTR+W Cloth Cord. A Premier Example Of This Very Desirable Fan!!
