Beautifully Restored Circa 1910 8" Emerson Type 11644 Ornate Base Desk Fan.  This stunning fan was restored buy a longtime collector of the AFCA who recently decided to release some wonderful fans from his person collection.  Highly ornate cast iron 8" Emerson models such as this have become very sought after by fan collectors.  Smaller scale and early "turn of the century" details make this Emerson Type 11644 a must have for any fan collector.  Cast iron components have be finished in a rich deep black gloss enamel and appear as if they were freshly painted.  All brass components were highly polished at time of resotration and have started to develop a slight patina.  With its signature centrifugal start switches, this fan opearate as designed on one high speed.
