Circa 1908 Emerson Type 2010 12" Desk Fan Professionally Restored. Highly desirable for its impressive ornate cast iron base and motor, centrifugal start switch design, as well as the cast hub 6 wing blade. All cast iron components of this fan have been expertly refinished in a rich automotive enamel and original raised lettering highlighted in gold as standard when new. Head wire and power cord have been updated using our superior OTR+W cloth covered wiring. As part of the restoration, we chose to mildly clean the brass components leaving the 110 plus years of patina present. The combination of rich black enamel and patina brass is stunning. Fan operates perfectly on 2 distinct speeds as designed at 115 volts. Displayed from the front, side, or back, this is a fan that has no bad angles!! Fan embodies the standards of American Manufacturing during the early 1900's.
