Circa 1905 12" GE Pancake half ribbed trunnion mount desk fan. Acquired from the estate/ collection of a friend and fellow fan collector this example is ready for its new home. Having been restored at some point, this example displays beautifully with only a few minor brush touchups noted. The half-ribbed feature on the cast iron base adds striking visual appeal and the last base design for the "Pancake" models to include this feature. Brass blade and cage have been polished presumably at the time of restoration and display very nicely. The fan has been fully serviced and inspected to ensure proper operation. The head wire was previously replaced, and the wires from the stator to the terminals were replaced when we serviced the fan. The power cord has been replaced with our superior OTR+W USA produced wire, and the motor runs smoothly across all 5 speeds. Low speed is EXCEPTIONAL!!! This fan is in excellent condition and would make a superb addition to any serious antique fan collection.
