Guard Is Held To The Motor With Heavy Cast Iron Struts. Brass Guard, Blade, And All Components Have Been Polished Some Years Ago And Have Developed A Slight Bit Of Patina. Motor Information Tag Is Cast Brass And States The Fan Operates On 133 Cycles. I Have Tested The Fan And It Operates Correctly On 60 Cycles. This Is Not Uncommon As Voltage Became Standard Across The Country, Consumers Were Forced To Change Their Appliance To Operate Or Buy New. So At Some Point This Was Rewound To Operate On 60 Cycles But Still Retaining An Early Tag. Once In A Lifetime Chance To Own A Very Rare Piece Of History.
