Circa 1899 12" GE Pancake Brass Fan RARE 125 Cycles/104 Volts Restored. Amazing example of a rare "pre-standardized" voltage fan in the very desirable GE Pancake line. Recently acquired as part of a spectacular private collection, this fan operates perfectly on its intended voltage and cycles. All cast iron components have been refinished in a rich black painted finish, all brass has been polished and appears to have been left in its natural state allowing patina to develop over the coming years. This example demonstrates the longest "spin-down" of any pancake model I have ever owned and most likely has a new bearing and possibly a shaft. Operates super smooth and quiet on 2 speeds. We tested using a 125 cycle generator through a variac dialed in at 104 volts providing the factory specified power for perfect operation. Very rare to find this model in this voltage and cycles topped off in a beautifully restored example.
