The Westinghouse "Tank" Motor Fans Have Become a Sample "Must Have" for Serious Collectors. We Are Pleased to Offer a Rare Twist of Your Common "Tank" Motor Westinghouse. This is a Rare Direct Current Example from 1906. The Direct Current Tank Motor Design is Sleek and Simple Having No Vent Holes. When Viewing the Fan from the Back you see the Wonderful Carbon Brush Setup with the Original Coiled Wire. This Example Runs on 110V DC, This can be Achieved Using a Bridge Rectifier. If Desired, We Will be Happy to Mount a Bridge Rectifier in the Base. The Paint is 100% Original with No Touch Ups. The Brass has a Wonderful Rich Patina. There are Two Areas on the Backrings Where the "S" Wires Have Been Soldered. Just a Beautiful Example of a Great early DC Fan.
