All Original 12" GE Sidewinder Oscillating Desk Fan
All Original 12" GE Sidewinder Oscillating Desk Fan. This was General Electrics first oscillating desk fan and was produced in 1910 for residential use. The wonderful example we have to offer here is an all original except for the power cord. We just purchased this fan as part of a large collection and are pleased to have it and offer such a great example. The fan oscillates as designed and runs on three distinct speeds. The original paint has been cleaned and waxed. The brass appears to be all original patina and never been polished. There is some wear on the shoulder screws in the drive train but that is expected wear on original components. We installed a new power cord as there wasn't a cord attached when found. A very impressive example of GE Technology and a must for a fan collectors collection.
