Beautiful original condition Circa 1908 12" Westinghouse “Tank” Motor Desk Fan featuring the highly desirable stencil. The original deep black japanned finish has been preserved over the last 110+ years and still displays a rich, mirror-like sheen with minimal paint missing around the base. The cage and brass blade have developed a gorgeous authentic patina that compliment the beautiful finish and add to the nostalgia of the fan. The fan has been fully serviced, completely disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled. Fresh oil and wick have been added, new feet added, and the head wire and power cord have been upgraded with our premium USA produced OTR+W cloth-covered wire. The fan runs perfectly on its intended two speeds, and it is perfect for daily use—a gorgeous original example of Westinghouse’s most iconic antique desk fans.
