Set of 4 matched Pittsburgh Permaflector Mercury Glass Shades from the Mark Smith collection of Lynchburg Virginia. Mark Smith primarily championed original and unrestored classic era automobiles, and by the time of his passing had amassed an incredible and varied assembly of the greatest historic vehicles. Mark used period signs and lighting as part of his collection display. These were being used to light porcelain signs relating to the automobiles in his collection.
These appear to have had some sort of outdoor exposure and are being offered as obtained and uncleaned. The silver used for mirroring has obtained a nice bronze/silver patina displaying a wonderful aged appeal.
