Restored Emerson 8" Brass Desk Fan Type 1500. This was Emerson's first 8" desk fan manufactured in 1909 making it highly sought after by collectors. It features the early design element of a centrifugal start switch that engages and disengages the start winding based on rotor RPM—recognizable by its distinct clicking sound at startup and shutdown. This fan has been beautifully restored displaying a gorgeous black finish and expertly polished and lacquered brass parker blades. It has been completely disassembled for cleaning and servicing and the head wire and power cord have been upgraded with our superior USA produced wire. It runs beautifully as designed on one speed and also features the ornate base with integrated convertible wall mount neck.
