Restored Circa 1934 Emerson 10" Silver Swan Art Deco Oscillating Desk Fan
Circa 1934 Restored Emerson 10" Silver Swan Art Deco Oscillating Desk Fan. Acquired from a private collection in "As Found" condition, this was the perfect example for a complete restoration. Fan has been completely disassembled and refinished to match the original reddish brown color used on this model. Gearbox was disassembled and cleaned of all old dry grease and refreshed with fresh clean lithium grease. Beautiful aluminum propeller style blade has been cleaned and polished. All wiring has been upgraded for years of safe operation. As designed, this model runs on one distinct speed with operation controlled by the original toggle switch mounted on the base. Adding to the details, we placed an original design Silver Swan log atop the base. This fan is a stunning example of art deco design, and it is aesthetically pleasing whether in motion or at a standstill.
