Restored Circa 1916 12" GE 3 Star brass blade and cage oscillating desk fan, Type AO Form R4 Cat. #75423, this fan was the workhorse for GE in the mid to late teens. This is a very desirable 3 Star oscillator, referring to the 3 star shaped adjustment knobs located on the fan. The body of the fan is restored in a rich matte black finish. Restoration was executed by a prior collector and graced the shelves of their collection until we acquired it. Looking at the fan, I noticed one imperfection in the finish as shown in the photos. Fan runs smoothly on three distinct speeds. We have fully serviced the fan for daily use. The head wire and power cord were updated at time of restoration. A historic brand manufactured during a time that "quality was standard".
