Restored 1898 Hunter Tuerk 4 Blade Ceiling Fan. This beautiful ceiling fan was lovingly restored some years ago by a lifelong fan collector.  The finish was executed in exact replication of the original copper oxide. Highly ornate "Beehive" style motor is a stunning design and very eye catching no matter the setting.  All components are original to the fan excluding the blades which appear to have been sculpted more recently.    All interior mechanical parts have been serviced and cleaned.  Motor/Stator Windings have been reinsulated to prevent voltage leakage due to worn or thin insulation. Blade Irons were finished in a bright copper oxide finish.  This unique design incorporates a horizontal motor with its shaft turning two wheels which hold and turn the beautiful ornate "beehive" housing.  The two spindles on the bottom of the Fan Motor Control Blade Pitch (Can Be Reversed) And "Off" and "On".  This is a very Iconic design by a major manufacturer of ceiling fans.  This is a pristine restored example and a perfect addition to any room.  This is the model T of electric ceiling fans; it is the earliest Hunter Electric fan and is not recommended for daily use.  Diameter is 52". Drop can be variable based on ceiling height.
