1898 Tuerk Type A Ornate Ceiling Fan Original Condition Professionally Serviced.  This beautiful Tuerk Type A Ceiling fan still retains its amazing original finish along with all parts (canopy, dust cover, blades and irons, etc).  This fan was part of a large collection we purchased where almost all of the fans had been picked out of the Wisconsin area in the 70's and 80's.  Because of its geographic location these fans had lesser than normal wear.  We sent this fan to Texas Ceiling fans for a complete servicing of the internals.  The leather wheels were inspected and found to be in excellent condition.  Texas Ceiling Fans noted that this is an excellent example in that it starts most of the time on its own.  Most of these Type A Tuerks require a push or nudge to put them in operation.  This examples still retains its original switch and blade reverser mechanism.  Its not often you see a complete example of this fan and it also has just undergone a complete servicing of the internals.  This fan is ready to be hung and enjoyed.  Please check out the video below.
