Rare Circa 1937 Factory All Chrome 12" Emerson Type 77646-AK Oscillating Desk Fan. Chrome finishes became an available option on desk fans in the 1930's. Chrome finishes were marketed for use in clean sterile environments such as restaurants and hospitals. It's rare to find an all-original factory chrome model especially from Emerson. This is a true survivor from 1937!! There is little to no oxidation on this example, minimal surface scratches are present but hey....its almost 90 years old. The original Off,1,2,3 is still present on the base which appears to have been a decal. We chose to leave the original head wire for the purist collector, if you would like to purchase the fan and want that upgraded, please contact us. Fan runs as amazing as it looks on 3 speeds.
