Rare Adapt-A-Lite Extension Cord w/ Socket. This is a rare, original early 20th century antique American industrial patented "Adapt-a-Lite" light extension cord with paddle or key socket. Good vintage condition. This piece was designed by Appleton Electric Co. in Chicago. This distinctive fixture contains a nicely aged, oversized brass ball with a winding mechanism. The device screws directly into a fixture socket. Wire light bulb guard NOT included.
